Full-day programs typically feature four to six 40 to 50-minute sessions with roughly fifty to a hundred kids each. This veteran classroom teacher knows how to engage my young audience. I tailor my presentations to different grade levels, encouraging preschoolers and kindergartners to sing and shout and act out my books while drawing on fifteen years of experience as a children’s editor to chat with older elementary students about how books are made. I am fully vaccinated and have enjoyed more than three dozen successful full-day visits to districts in New Jersey, New York State, Delaware, Maryland, and Virginia.
I charge less for a lively full-day visit from my home in New Jersey than many comparable authors charge for a single hour.
